Sandra Blum

Sandra Bastienne Blum is a seasoned luxury hospitality executive with more than 35 years of international experience leading upscale hotels and resort operations across Spain, Panama, Mexico, and Jamaica. She has held senior leadership roles with globally recognized brands including Meliá, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, AMResorts, and Hyatt, building a distinguished career in luxury hotel management and operational excellence.

Sandra brings deep expertise in hotel operations, guest experience strategy, service culture transformation, and large-scale brand repositioning initiatives. She is particularly recognized for leading complex resort transitions and elevating operational standards to align with global luxury brand expectations.

She currently guides the transformation of Dreams Las Mareas in Costa Rica into the JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort All-Inclusive, setting a new benchmark for luxury resort experiences in the region.

Sandra holds a Master’s degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and is widely respected for her leadership, innovation, and commitment to operational performance within competitive international markets.
